The video was briefly available online earlier this week but was removed by Kardashian’s lawyers, TMZ reported Oct. 13.

The footage was reportedly recorded in secret just “moments” after police arrived at the scene of the crime, and shows Kardashian FaceTiming with someone on the couch while police search the apartment in the background.

Sources told TMZ that Kardashian’s lawyers are working closely with Paris authorities to figure out who was behind the hidden camera and what they’ve done with all of the footage.

In France, filming someone in a private location without their consent is illegal. If police are able to track down the suspect, the person could potentially face up to a year in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Kardashian’s legal team is also suing an online media outlet that reported she was a liar and thief after she was attacked in Paris. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from MediaTakeOut长沙桑拿, and says Kardashian was victimized a second time when the website reported that she faked the robbery and lied about being physically harmed.

Kardashian has been completely silent on her social media accounts since the incident in Paris on Oct. 3, but she returned to 桑拿会所 on Oct. 13 to unfollow several people.

The 35-year-old reality star was previously following 121 accounts, but she scaled back to follow just 108, according to Us Weekly.

The Selfish author might be reevaluating her social media strategy, and a source also told the publication that Kardashian “realizes she was living in a bubble doing what she was doing.”

“She loved flaunting her wealth and being so public,” the magazine reports. “She felt safe and never really thought about her vulnerability. Now she knows she was so naive. Everything has to change going forward.”

Kardashian has cancelled her upcoming public appearances, including a scheduled belated birthday celebration in Las Vegas at Hakkasan Nightclub on Oct. 28.
